INY CULTURAL AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT MONTH 2023
AN INITIATIVE OF INY SINCE 2021
INY_ASSAM with an initiative towards youth development , trying to imbibe a zeal of social awareness, scientific temperament , cultural responsibility amongst the youths started the INY Cultural and Skills Development Week in 2021. This Week was held in online mode in the past two years to gain a wide participation in the state and also taking into concern the Covid-19 restrictions.
This time, the Third Edition of INY Cultural and Skills Development Week has been changed to INY Cultural and Skills Development Month, in which we are targeting to conduct events offline in schools of the remotest areas so that we can connect the students with the mainstream. We shall conduct events amongst the schools kids so that the youths get culturally , scientifically and socially aware.
Also, we are organising a Submission Based Essay Competition and Book Review Contest like the previous years !
Join us in this Venture as our teams and team leaders commence their events with the vision imbibed in this initiative.

A Quiz on Assam and its rich Culture will be hosted by a team led by Tridip Nath. This will help the school kids to acknowledge the rich culture of Assam and how it is creating a unique space globally.

Drawing Contest organised for school kids with the Theme : ” Bihu- The Lifeline of Assam’s Culture ” and/or ” Our School_Our Second Home”.
Crafting Competition
A Crafting Competition is being organised for the kids so that they can showcase their creativity . A contest just to bring out the creativity of kids.
POEM RECITATION
To enhance the verbal caliber of the kids, Poem Recitation Contest on an Open Theme is conducted by a team led by Volunteer Kalpa Jyoti Baruah.
Drawing Contest
Drawing Contest for kids for them to showcase their vibrant creativity in their canvas in colours led by Kalpa J. Baruah.
Quiz and Spelling writing Contest
A Quiz Contest for Students is to be conducted with a aim to make the students concern and aware of their surroundings and yes to connect those students with the mainstream students. Also, a spelling writing contest is being organised.
CAREER COUNSELLING
An exclusive Career Counselling session for Class 9-10 students to be organised by the Team led by Johns Hazarika.
INTERACTIVE SESSION
Dr. Intiqabur Rahman , a senior Physician, Medicine Specialist with 17+ years of experience will address the theme -” Steps towards inculcating a sense of possessiveness for better health amongst the Youths” via Virtual Mode. Dr. Rahman also has a wide popularity as a poet.

INY Cultural and Skills Development Month 2023 Curtain Raising Ceremony shall be held on 7th April,2023 in Virtual Mode, live streaming via FB.
