Career Counselling Initiative by INY Nagaon

INY Nagaon successfully organized a Career Counselling Initiative aimed at empowering students with valuable guidance for their academic and social growth!

The event provided insightful discussions on various career paths, helping students explore opportunities, develop essential skills, and make informed decisions for their future. From higher education to career planning, the session offered something for everyone.

On this special occasion of Children’s Day (14th October 2024), the INY Sonitpur team had the privilege of spending quality time with the amazing kids of a local tea garden.

The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful interactions. Engaging games, storytelling, and heartfelt moments reminded us of the boundless potential and joy that children bring into our lives.

INY Guwahati – Food Distribution Drive for the Needy.

INY Guwahati organized a heartfelt Food Distribution Drive to support those in need. Our dedicated team came together to distribute essential food items to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances. It was a day filled with compassion, unity, and the spirit of giving.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed and volunteered to make this initiative a success.

Interactive Session: 26th October, ’24

INY Sonitpur initiated an Interaction Session with the kids of a nearby school focussing on Holistic Development of the students.

INY is always motivated to work towards youth upliftment in all aspects.

We feel honored to have met and received blessings from Sri Bihuram Saikia, a renowned folk artist dedicated to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of our region. At 103 years young, his unwavering enthusiasm and passion for art are truly inspiring, embodying the spirit of cultural renaissance. His lifelong commitment to sharing his talents with the community is a testament to his enduring legacy.

Health camp: 24th October, ’24

Health is wealth goes the saying!

And henceforth, a Health Camp was organized by Aditya Jeevan Foundation in collaboration with iny_assam at Sensowa, Nagaon.

The camp also created a session on awareness related to AIDS. The camp served at most 100 people.

Food Donation drive: 21st October, ’24

INY Golaghat led a team to distribute food to the needy ones.

Hunger is an enemy that cannot be nullified but be controlled. And here’s we, making an attempt to fill the hunger of few people we can.

Cloth Donation drive: 14th October, ’24

This Puja while you buy new clothes don’t let your old clothes sit in a corner and abandon them. Instead give to the ones who search for happiness even in your abandoned clothes.

We iny_assam Jorhat Team led a drive to offer old clothes to the one who couldn’t afford to buy a new one. The smiles glorifying the happiness they have felt.

Noble deeds truly bring an ever lasting satisfaction.

A new beginning: 11th October, ’24

Can we be more happier and Merrier?

Integrated Network Of Youths -INY #Headquarters finally inaugurated on 10th of October ’24 during the auspicious Durga Puja Celebrations.

Moments of accomplishment, a sense of gratitude and a feel of satisfaction imbibed in all volunteers as the INY Office was finally inaugurated in Nagaon,Assam.

The office bearers took charge of the Office for the first time and a delightful ceremony followed!

INY Golaghat had the privilege of meeting young minds, discussing their education, and gifting them notebooks, pens, and sweet treats to fuel their learning journey!

We also distributed sweets to needy villagers, listened to their stories, and learned about their challenges. Their love and blessings filled our hearts!

Spreading Joy and Love at Sarothi Old Age Home, Jorhat!

INY Jorhat had the privilege of visiting Sarothi Old Age Home in collaboration with Project Humanity. We shared a heartwarming dinner with the residents, followed by an entertaining movie night and meaningful conversations about their life stories.

We were deeply touched by their warmth, love, and blessings. This experience reminded us of the importance of compassion, empathy, and community

Hunger: The Enemy of Humanity

Hunger has the power to transform even the kindest of souls into desperate survivors. It’s a scourge that can drive individuals to extremes, often leading them down a path of harm and destruction. But what if we could change this narrative?

At INY Guwahati, we believe that a single act of kindness can be a powerful step towards creating a hunger-free society. Our recent initiative in the Fancy Bazaar Area aimed to do just that – providing a nourishing meal to those in need, if only for a day.

We understand that daily food provision may not be within our capacity, but we implore you to join us in this mission. Whenever possible, take a moment to feed a homeless person, and help them regain their dignity. Together, we can ensure that hunger doesn’t drive them to desperation.

Let’s unite to create a world where no one goes hungry, and where kindness triumphs over adversity.

Career & Social Counselling Session in Nagaon: 23rd August, ’24

Are we not committed for social well-being? Yes, we are & so, INY Nagaon unit initiated a Career & Social Counselling which was a part of Student’s Connect Session.

We are excited to share that the volunteers from the Integrated Network of Youths Assam (Nagaon Unit) successfully conducted our first event on 23rd August at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Jatiya Vidyalaya, Bogamukh. The event was graced by the presence of the organization’s President, Nirup Jyoti Das, Vice President, Tridip Nath and the school’s Principal.

The students were enthusiastic and deeply engaged, expressing their gratitude for the valuable insights and guidance provided. Many shared that the session helped them gain clarity on their future career paths and inspired them to pursue their goals with renewed determination.

The glorious journey of INY for social well-being shall continue.

Who says they are orphans?

We are there to give them the love they deserve.

INY Jorhat Team went to an Orphanage and distributed stationery items.

In addition, interacted with the kids, made them aware of the Career prospects, gave a session on Good Touch and Bad Touch.

Is it not unfair to not tie rakhis to our dearest brothers there?

So, our girl volunteers too tied Rakhi’s to them setting an example that no one must be derived of love and affection!

Career Counselling Session in Barpeta: 16th August, ’24

With an initiative to make the students aware of the career prospects a Career Counseling Session was organized in Barpeta on 16th August,’24…!

Additionally, a social counselling was conducted to make everyone aware of social issues & imbibe a positive attitude towards the society.

INY Barpeta took this initiative with a great zeal for a holistic wellbeing of the youths. This initiative was done during the visit of Dhirazit Hazarika to Barpeta.

Official Visit to Barpeta: 15-16th August, ’24

Dhirazit Hazarika who’s looking after the units’ development as an Independent Executive Director to INY had made an official visit to Barpeta where in the team had an insightful meet up.

The team also made a visit to the Sattras of Barpeta and met the Sattradhikars and sought blessings.

Few food packages were donated to the ones in need sitting outside the sattra gate. We extend our warm gratitude to Miss Purabi Borah Purabi Borah from Lakhimpur who sponsored the food packages.

The Barpeta Team has been actively participating for the development of the youths following INY’s principles.

Independence Day Celebration- 15th August, ’24

INY centrally hoisted the Tricolour at Barpeta inculcating positive patriotism amongst the youths.

Primly Das Jt.Secretary, Unit Affairs hosted the Tricolour. The Volunteers accompanied her.

Dhirazit Hazarika is present at Barpeta for an official visit and to meet the Volunteers and consequently he also accompanied the ceremony.

FLOOD RELIEF CAMP- 25th July, ’24

The recent floods in Assam have caused widespread devastation, affecting countless lives and displacing many from their homes. Yet, the resilience of our communities and the kindness of strangers have provided a beacon of hope in these challenging times.

INY Assam is proud to have been part of the relief efforts in Kaliabor, where our team worked tirelessly to distribute essential supplies and support those affected. We provided food, clean water, clothing, and medical kits, along with comfort and reassurance to those in need.

Our efforts in Kaliabor highlight the power of collective action and the impact we can have when we come together. As we continue to support our community’s recovery, we are reminded of the importance of unity and sustained effort. Let’s keep standing together and helping those in need as we work towards rebuilding and recovery.

FOURTH FOUNDATION DAY 2024

On June 16th,’24 we had the profound honor of celebrating INY Foundation Day at the Sonapur old age home, an event that left a lasting impression on all of us. The day was filled with warmth, gratitude, and deep connections, embodying the true spirit of our foundation.

The celebration began with the elders lighting the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing hope and enlightenment. They then performed “naam,” a spiritual offering for the well-being of our volunteers and the INY Foundation, setting a deeply spiritual tone for the day.

Our President shared the inspiring journey of INY, reflecting on our humble beginnings in 2021, the challenges we’ve overcome, and the milestones we’ve achieved. He highlighted the unwavering commitment of our volunteers, whose dedication has been the cornerstone of our success.

On our 4th Foundation Day, we introduced MindFest 3.0 with a special twist—an intellectual quiz contest with an ethnic Assamese flavor, exclusively for the elders. Their enthusiastic participation brought joy and energy to the event.

The celebration concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and a special lunch for the residents, whose joy and contentment made the day truly memorable. As we look back on these four years, we are deeply grateful for the support we’ve received and look forward to many more years of spreading joy and making a difference in our community.

7-11th April ’24

Integrated Network Of Youths -INY is always committed towards making a change amongst the youths. We as a team have been dedicated towards making the youths culturally active.

As a part of INY Cultural and Skills Development Week 2024 , we organised a five day Dance Workshop starting from 7th April,’24 and it concluded on 11th April,’24.

We are so grateful to see the active participation of the kids. Humble gratitude to Miss Kangkana Sharmah who has been a Master trainer in the workshop.

As a part of Community service, we visited Jeevendeep Old Age Home, Silchar and sponsored the morning breakfast for the residents. This event was carried out as a part of social activity in connection with the upcoming fest of #NIT_Silchar Posua ’24!

The smiles and contentment we see in the smiles of the residents there makes our vist worthy of all. We were there to hear them, we were there to listen to their stories, we were there to show our care. We stand by all who need us.

Keep blessing that we can do better everytime.

25th February, ’24

The INY Conclave 3.0 on February 25, ’24, at ADP College Auditorium in Nagaon, centered on “Empowering Youths for a Change.” Esteemed guests included Dr. Madhurima Goswami, Dr. Mousmi Mahanta, Dr. Arunima Gogoi, Dr. Pranjal Buragohain, Miguel Das Queah, Dr. Sanjib Kumar Borkakoti, Dilip Kumar Borah, Srijani Hazarika, and Rajababu Saikia. The event commenced with dignified proceedings, including a guard of honor and symbolic lamp lighting, followed by speeches from Tridip Nath, Shashwati Kalita, and Prajukta Borah. Dhirazit Hazarika’s presidential address emphasized INY’s commitment to youth empowerment.

Panel discussions addressed child rights, women’s dignity, innovative education, and Srimanta Sankardev’s literary works, stressing collaboration in tackling societal issues. Post 3 expressed gratitude to volunteers like Prajukta Bora, Shashwati Kalita, and Kainat Seikh, moderators, Tridib Nath, sponsors including Pattern Classes and Mahendras Nagaon Branch, and the NSS unit of ADP College.

Overall, INY Conclave 3.0 showcased collaborative efforts aimed at empowering youth and fostering positive societal change.

26th January, ’24

INY Jorhat unfurled the National Tricolour on account of 75th Republic Day ’24 and organised an Art Contest amongst the kids !

The Maiden event at Jorhat spread smiles amongst the kids and thereby inculcating compassion in ourselves as well.

This Republic Day, let’s pledge us to de devoted towards contributing towards the nation’s progress and welfare of its people. Let’s pledge to be socially fir and rise in the service of humanity. Let’s not forget the contribution of our freedom fighters for their endless contribution

23th January, ’24

INY Sonitpur on 23rd of January ’24 organised a Free Eye Check Up Camp at Bihaguri in association with ERC Lens. Eyes are the biggest wealth and getting a chance to serve people in the field of eye care is a biggest opportunity.

INY is thankful to the volunteers of INY Sonitpur for a tremendous work. We are trying to be in the service of people in the entire state.

National Youth Day ’24

INY Nagaon on account of National Youth Day ’24, the Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda ; distributed Teaching Learning Materials amongst the kids today ,12th January ’24, to encourage the kids towards education and bring a bright future.

We hope our small initiatives will help the society to move ahead.

We shall work to keep the ideologies of Swami Vivekananda alive.
